Loud Thoughts About Love

I love love……..
It is (one of) the most experienced type of emotion.
However, we have different unique experiences about love.
So instead of writing how to’s and don’ts, I decided on writing loud thoughts that come up regarding love.
Or maybe its just another attempt at writing a poem.
Like a tingling sensation
That’s how it starts
The twitching palm
Love and adrenaline
Just like a beautiful ride on a roller coaster
Thrilling and exhilarating
Yet, filled with suspense and uncertainty
You choose to hop in anyway
Closing your eyes in fear
Or enjoying the ride with hands in the air
With the way love lifts your mood
You will think everyone has it good
Isn’t it a wonder
How something so beautiful
Can make you sad sometimes
And then you ponder
How can there be pain
Even in your happy place
But that’s what love is
It is patient
Love is life
It gives you a reason to breath
Love is the simple things
Like waking up to already made coffee
Love is caring
Like finding out if your neighbour is doing well
Love is lovely
Like having his t-shirt on
Love is sometimes silent
Like allowing hearts speak
Love is beautiful
Love is Life
To live, we must Love

Love for me is learning to live through the bad times and looking forward to the good. My hubby and I are approaching our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and has it all been good? No. But there have been enough good times to overshadow the bad – all because of real deep LOVE. Thanks for the post. Have a blessed Easter!
