    'Mrs' on social media first….

So happy it’s friday. It’s kind of a special weekend for me because my birthday is next Monday and I was able to get Monday off work.  Whoop whoop!! So ironically, self care starts today. (Meanwhile, how do you spend your birthday when it falls on a Monday?…most people will be at work till late evening). So i have this procedure i should have completed a while ago but it just hasn’t happened. Two days ago, I decided it was time and had a conversation with a friend about how she got her husband’s last name aligned with her bank details and the office records. Of course, I confirmed my…

Comment Travails: 3 cringe worthy moments.

Hi Lovelies, Having a good day? I spent the better part of my lunch time trying to meet up my goals for the blog like I mentioned in Pulse for May 2017. That means I actually visited, followed and commented on some blogs today without threads and referrals. It felt nice, i was not under any obligation, I read some really lovely content and got ideas too. The problem started when I had to drop a comment.  Sigh…. Imagine this scenario… You know when you really enjoyed reading a post, you go ahead to type some really nice feedback, type in the required name and email address (if you are…

    Pulse for May 2017

Hi Lovelies, It’s a new month already? Is it me or is this year going by really fast? The first of May is Workers day in Nigeria so that means a day off work. I totally love public holidays and I got to spend my day at the movies watching Smurfs. (yea yea..i had my little bride come to the house for a sleep over so we had to pick a ‘kid friendly’ movie). I am also really excited about May because it’s my birth month too. Not yet sure about what plans I’ll have. My birthday falls on a Monday and to really have a good time I should…

Although I do not plan on ending the Ato ZChallenge 3 letters away, I do not intend to write anything…

It is eight days after the official theme reveal day, two days till the A to Z Challenge  begins and My Theme for the A-Z Challenge 2017 is finally ready. Bloggers Recognition Award

Whoop Whoop!!!! We have our First Bloggers Recognition Award, plenty thanks to the lovely Sheetal for the nomination. Totally excited as this means you are reading Phaytea’s Pulse. Thank you for the comments, likes and for sharing on your social media platforms too. What!!!! You make me want to keep getting better at this. Sending plenty hugs to go round. How i started Phaytea’s Pulse? it’s funny but I started this blog in 2011 just as a young girl who was internet savvy and loved social media. Creating a blog then seemed like a ‘nice to have’, I guess that was the reason for the inconsistent posts. …oh yeah!!! and there was school,…

    Random Musing

This is bad…I havent been here all year and april is almost over. *sigh…….anyways happy new year guys and shout out to those who have already broken their resolutions for 2014. Not judging o, just saying i totally understand…afterall we are human. So a lot has happened….good, bad, ugly, shocking, devastating, we’ve lost some, gained some, still expectant,  waiting for that breakthrough etc….but in all, we still stand strong.  If we are able to see a new day in good health, then thats enough reason to stay hopeful. Just remember to say a prayer for Nigeria (i know, I know…we’ve been praying for God knows how long) but then if…
