    Pulse for February 2018

Is 2018 going by really fast or what? As much as January really took it’s time, February is here and I am grateful as always. The last time I wrote a ‘Pulse for a month’ post was in August 2017. Staying off writing my goals was not intentional but if you have been a reader for a while then you probably have an idea why I stopped. From August last year, I got a whole new experience of what planning means and also had to learn how to handle your emotions when life interrupts your plans. At the moment, I feel like things are gradually getting back to normal and…

Movie Review- Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle|| Find out if it is Kid Friendly

Guys!! Did you ever think Jumanji will have a sequel? I had tucked the movie in my ‘fondest childhood memory trunk’ and never thought anyone will consider writing a sequel. Like, if no one thought about it, all will still be well with the world. Anyway, it happened and you can only imagine my excitement when I saw on instagram that Jumanji 2 was being shot. What was even more exciting for me was the cast line up. I follow Kevin Hart on instagram but went ahead to follow him on Snapchat as well just to catch ‘behind the scene’ snaps and of course count down to it’s release in…

Why Women should Support other Women.

If I get a penny for everytime I hear people talk about how women should support other women, I should be a millionaire. Sad that we are not on our way to becoming millionaires just from you reading this or me writing about this. However, you should definitely read on just so we can share our thoughts on this issue.   As much as this is talked about , we are not there yet. What do we do with the information we get? Do we support each other when we are required to? A lot of people do not like competition and this is one reason women never support each other. …

4 Reasons why worrying is good for you.

Some days ago while going over an issue that got me a bit unsettled, a friend said to me ‘why do you always say and think the worst things’. I did not argue about this statement because it is at least 80% true. I am among the people who refuse to accept that worrying is 100% toxic. I have the tendency of always anticipate possible results and when I air my views, anyone who does not understand automatically thinks I’m hurting myself by worrying too much.  Maybe I do worry a lot , but I feel like it is an important process that helps you manage your expectations. The truth…

    Pulse for August 2017

The first of every month is always very exciting for me. I feel I have just crossed a milestone and should celebrate. Today isn’t any different. I feel elated and thankful for the Gift of Life, Good Health and Loved ones. I am also excited about Phaytea’s Pulse and it’s lovely readers. Thank you all for stopping by and contributing, it makes the effort worth it. As I did in May, June and July, I will be sharing my Pulse for August but first here’s a rundown of how I fared in July: Post Scheduling & Pictures: I still write on impulse but the blog dairy helps. I get to put down my thoughts…

    July 2017 Favourites

Hi Lovelies, did you have an interesting weekend? I didn’t get up to anything out of the ordinary this weekend and I feel like I should revisit my bucket list just to get ideas I can indulge in. August is hours away and I should really create some fun memories before the year ends. It is the last day in July and for some reason I woke up happy this morning. This is not to say I never have grumpy days but infact I think mornings are my best time of the day. If you are yet to get a hang of how to start your day, then I recommend you read 8…

Achieving a Proper Work – Life Balance.

If you were asked to create a day between Saturday and Sunday, what will you call it? Still thinking?  Honestly, there are times when I have said the weekend is too short and wished for a day in between Saturday and Sunday.  We know for a fact that there will always be seven days in a week and I am sure it will never change. Since that’s the harsh reality, we have no choice but to face every new week and maybe play it out in the same old routine…..then on sunday night, we wish there was another day in between Saturday and Sunday. Isn’t it funny that sunday night…
