    The first half of 2017 is over…..like…literally OVER. Have you taken a stock count? How did you fare? At the beginning of the year, we had a lot of goals lined out and as I always advocate, I’m hoping we’ve been taking baby steps to achieve one goal at a time.     Different ways people get judged on the spot.

    I was running errands the other day with a friend when we saw the police had stopped two guys for driving a jeep that had dark tinted windows.  Both guys seemed distressed but what really got me thinking was when my friend said the two guys might be involved in shady deals.  This conclusion was made because they both wore earrings and had dreadlocks. Now, I tried to put up an argument to differ but it really didn’t get anywhere as the subject of discussion drifted into other topics.     Do you stick around in bad times too?

    Last night I watched a movie titled Brave. The storyline was basically testing a wife’s loyalty after her husband got involved in a car accident and became bedridden. They were a young couple and the wife had to struggle to keep her vows. It was a difficult period for her but her Mother’s words of wisdom spurred her into making the right decisions, she nurtured her husband through the bad times, he eventually walked and they lived happily ever after.
